The government says there is a greater risk of spreading coronavirus in an enclosed space where social distancing is not always possible.     Good News – Church is open

    St John the Baptist church will be open on Wednesday afternoons from 12pm and again on Sunday mornings until 12pm for private prayer and reflection in line with Government guidelines.Parts of the church have been cordoned off and certain soft furnishings and books removed as these would be difficult to clean and the PCC ask that anyone who enters the church during these times adheres to the requests in the notices in the church.By opening for only 2 sessions per week this enables the church to be “quarantined” for the advised 72 hours in order that we do not have to clean the numerous surfaces (some of which are highly…
