Open Arts Forum

A group of villagers convened in the Parish Hall on Monday, 28th April with the idea of becoming OAFs!! Let us explain further…….

The idea is to explore various aspects of the arts and literature in a considered and enjoyable way. It is proposed that we meet once a month and each session will have a pre-declared topic for discussion, to which you will be expected to respond by bringing with you a piece of literary work. This could be in the form of an extended quotation from a book or play, a song or a piece of music, a photograph, a painting, a piece of embroidery etc. This may be your own creation or from a published work. Each participant must be prepared to discuss the connection of their contribution with the topic, as they see it.

If you would be interested in joining us, the next collection of OAFs will be on 9th June, at 7pm in the Parish Hall.
