The Parish of North Bovey

We are very lucky to live in the parish of North Bovey, a classic English village on the eastern section of Dartmoor National Park.

Nestled within the scenic expanse of Dartmoor National Park, North Bovey exudes the charm of a classic English village. Situated in the park’s eastern region, we boast a picturesque village green bordered by quaint houses, a renowned local pub, and the historic North Bovey St John’s Church.

If you are passing through, then why not enjoy a leisurely retreat at the Ring of Bells Inn, widely regarded as one of Dartmoor’s best pubs. Offering a delightful outdoor seating area overlooking the village green, it provides the perfect setting to unwind and a place frequented by the locals. For those seeking a touch of luxury, the prestigious Bovey Castle awaits on the outskirts of the village.
