Pet Poisoning Crime Alert

Between 14.00 and 16.45 on Wednesday 22nd June, someone administered a substance, suspected to be antifreeze but not verified, to a female cat belonging to a resident of Mount Pleasant. The cat died the next day. Please be vigilant and report any suspicious activity promptly to the police, by phone 101, or email 101@dc.police.uk or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800555111 quoting Crime Number CR/41738/16.
If you have any substances likely to harm cats, dogs or other animals, please put them away so that they cannot eat or drink them.
