    Fair Profit Allocation

The Fair Committee will be meeting soon to decide upon how the profits are to be distributed this year. Whilst our priorities are to support the church and the hall, there may be other requests or suggestions so please drop me a line to Glebe House, or email me on Mandyhart1@mac.com  if you have any ideas so we can discuss it at our meeting.

    Do we have a plan?

Thank you to the organisers of last evening’s drop-in meeting at the Village Hall. A well-attended event with lots of leaflets and feedback forms. Will we need a ‘Plan’? Will it generate lots of simple, effective initiatives to improve and enhance our glorious corner of Albion – or just a lot of pie-charts and stake-holder statements? What do you think? Sausages!

AVAILABLE NOW ! We have had the pleasure of sampling Peter Hunt’s unique Jacob Lamb Sausages, Mighty tasty they are too! The Mint sausages were a triumph with jacket potatoes and fresh home-grown runner beans. Our taste-buds are a-quiver at the prospect of trying the Cranberry variety. All in the knowledge that these very special Jacob sheep were raised in our village by a fellow whose sausages can only be matched by his fine Honey. Just have to get some for friends – but for now we are eating them all! Mint or Cranberry, £6.50 per kilo. Contact Peter Hunt T 01647 440322   peter@beesindevon.co.uk

    Invitation . . .

Village Voices would like to invite a spokesperson for each of the North Bovey bodies/committees to post on behalf of their group. One person from the Parish Council, PPC, Friends of St John’s etc. If you subscribe to the blog your status will be changed to ‘Author’. You can then post and the community will know that accurate information is being published about your activity. You will be asked to head each post “On behalf of . . .” which means you will still be able to comment in a personal capacity. Posting is pretty simple. Currently Lionel Holmes, Mandy Hart, Jennifer Jones & myself are ‘Authors’ so whoever you…
