FOUND DOGS
Both Maud and Cedric are back safe and sound. They had a night out on the tiles, but seem perfectly well for their adventure, they just stink hugely – goodness knows what they slept in!!! A great big thank you to everyone for the tremendous support from the village – this is when it is so wonderful to live in such a small community and everyone can relate to the agony we were going through! LOST DOGS
Sorry to put this on The Friends page, but this is what I have access to – Maud and Cedric, our two cross Springer/Bassett dogs, have gone for a very long unaccompanied walk over the fields, nearly 4 hours ago. I keep hoping they will just re-appear but no luck yet. So if anyone catches sight of them, please, please call us immediately on 221624 or 07887 932212. Many many thanks Wendy

Website Changes
As you can see I am currently reviewing the website. In particular I want to move away from the rolling format where a new post displaces all others from the front page. Something that shows the last 6 or so seems better. I also was something that encourages more use of images to cheer it up. So, this would be a good time to invite you to make any other suggestions you have for the site. Suggestions below please.

Leaf clearance from The Village Green
Thanks to all the volunteers who assembled on Sat 8th/Sun 9th November 2014 to carry out an initial leaf clearance from The Village Green. Thanks also to those Parishioners who made their Green bins available for the leaves to be composted via Teignbridge DC. When all the remaining leaves are down another session will be arranged in about two weeks time.

North Bovey Beef
Hopefully you have all seen my wonderful Blue Grey steers on Broadmeads. Blue Greys are a traditional beef breed created by crossing a Belted Galloway with a White Shorthorn. Although as lovely as they are, it is time for them to go and I would like nothing more than for them to go locally. So I will be selling beef boxes to anyone who would like some. They are 29 months old and have only ever been fed on our grass and hay. Each steer has been hung for four weeks and I use Andy Cox who used to work with Barry Moore in Moreton to cut and bag up the meat. I…
