North Bovey Belles WI

Hello and welcome to our WI

North Bovey Belles WI started in January 2019. Our aim is to provide a fun, friendly and educational group for women within the Women’s Institute organisation.

We meet in the 2nd Thursday of each month (except July) at 7:30pm in North Bovey Parish Hall, TQ13 8RA.

We enjoy regular speakers and demonstrators at our monthly meetings as well as arranging outings, craft sessions, getting involved with and contributing to our local community.

We have sub-groups, which organise visits to arts events, theatre, cinema and galleries – the Luvvies – and the Craft Corner that encourages regular opportunities to learn and practice different crafts amongst members

We are active participants and campaigners that are involved in many local activities and events that benefit our local community.

Within Devon Federation of WIs we also participate in countywide events and meetings which are detailed in the newsletter Devon News and on the website https://www.devonwi.org.uk/

At National WI level, we enjoy being part of the largest women’s organisation in England and Wales and are able to participate in national campaigns that benefit women, our environment, and our communities.
