Saturday’s events for our North Bovey celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee
Those taking part in ‘Beating the Bounds’ will be gathering at the Parish Hall for 9am, and leaving immediately. The walk will take you to Dickford Bridge, the boundary with Lustleigh Parish, and will end at Jurston at around 4.00pm. There will be transport along the way for those who don’t want to do the whole walk, and transport back from Jurston.
This is followed by a sumptuous Cream Tea from approximately 4.30pm in the Parish Hall hosted by the North Bovey Belles WI!
And on another note, if you have a car parked on the east side of the Green – ie, in front of the Parish Hall and all the way down to the pub – please make sure you remove it by 6pm on Saturday evening. The road in front of the Parish Hall will be closed all day on Sunday, due to our continuing celebrations!
