Today is the start of our celebrations to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

Instructions on how to get there:

1. Walking – Debbie will leave the village green promptly at 8.30pm together with anybody who would like to join her in the 40 minute hike. Please bring a torch for return journey.

2. By Land Rover – again departing from the village green at 8.30pm. Seats are limited, so please book yours by contacting Dai – phone number below.

3. By car – followed by a 15 minute walk. Take the Manaton road to Langstone Cross. Bear right. After half a mile, turn right, signed Boodown Farm. Continue into track for a total of a quarter mile and park on ground just beyond the Moorland gate. Walk to the right, uphill – you will see the beacon and trig point at the summit. Please take a torch for the return journey.
