A Message from Lionel Holmes
Lionel Holmes completed his bike ride for Devon’s Historic Churches on 10th September, visiting altogether twelve churches – from Oakford (near Bampton) to Tedburn St Mary – covering a little short of fifty miles in all. If you feel able to contribute to his fundraising endeavours, please follow the advice given below.
Your help in keeping the historic building of St John the Baptist Church in North Bovey in good shape will be greatly appreciated.
HOW TO DONATE:
The easiest way to make a gift is by sending a gift online to the following bank account:
Devon Historic Churches Trust, A/c: 00290564, SC: 20-30-47
It is VITAL that you include a reference to ensure that your gift is for North Bovey – so do please write ‘For N Bovey from (your surname)’ in the reference space. If the space is too short for all that, then at least the first bit will show which church should benefit!
Otherwise, cheques (made out to Devon Historic Churches Trust) may be sent to:
Claire Sherlock, The Old Farmhouse, Hele Farm, Hennock Road, Bovey Tracey TQ13 9PP.
If you prefer cash, then that may be left with Tina Barrington. She lives at Sunnyside, just below the church. Take the footpath between the house and the churchyard and leave your envelope in the box inside the first small gate on the left. Or, if you live nearer Moreton, I can receive donations where I live at Wayside (top of Exeter Road).
It would give me great pleasure to acknowledge your gift personally, so do let me know if you have donated. If you can include GIFT AID, please email me for advice at lionel@homebound.org.uk
