Village Voices would like to invite a spokesperson for each of the North Bovey bodies/committees to post on behalf of their group. One person from the Parish Council, PPC, Friends of St John’s etc. If you subscribe to the blog your status will be changed to ‘Author’. You can then post and the community will know that accurate information is being published about your activity. You will be asked to head each post “On behalf of . . .” which means you will still be able to comment in a personal capacity. Posting is pretty simple. Friends of St John’s News
From Wendy Spiegel . . . Our charity, The Friends of St Johns North Bovey, was set up in 2006, following the quinquennial report, which is required by the Diocese, on the church in 2005. It was created to act as a fund raising body for the essential repairs that were required to keep the church building in a viable state. This year, the Object of the Charity was changed to more accurately reflect the perceived reasons for its existence.
