South West Water presentation – Wednesday 27th September
North Bovey Parish Council is facilitating the North Bovey Belles Women’s Institute to host an Open Meeting with a representative from South West Water on Wednesday 27th September at 7.00pm in the Parish Hall. The North Bovey Belles WI approached the Parish Council to investigate the water quality in our local river, the River Bovey. The national WI has launched a campaign called ‘Clean Rivers for Wildlife and People’. There will be a presentation by South West Water on water quality testing, with time for questions and answers. And North Bovey Belles WI will have a small display about the WI campaign. All are welcome.

Hazel Jones Please bring your Flowers, Vegetables and Fruit for the Village Fair display in the Church Specimen flowers or flower arrangements Individual vegetables or mixed display. Fruit, one type or mixed display. Entries will be judged on quality of produce and artistic presentation. It would be great to put on a good show despite this somewhat problematic gardening year.
