Road warden scheme proposal
Dear Parishioners of North Bovey, The Parish Council has I understand decided to take forward an application to join the DCC Highways road warden scheme. I have put my name forward to the PC and have begun consulting a variety of parishioners on their views on the subject of self help highway maintenance (country lanes in our parish’s case) initiative launched by DCC Highways. Please post your views on this initiative as comments on this site so some sort of consensus can be drawn.Please also encourage your friends and contacts in the Parish who may not look at Parish Voices and ask them to mail myself <jcc240@gmail.com> or phone 440143…

Leaf clearance from The Village Green 29/30 Nov 2014
A second clearance of Oak Leaves from The Village Green is due. All help welcome on Sat 29th at 1000hrs and/or Sun 30th 1000hrs Please bring a rake and if possible an empty green wheelie bin. A couple of hours should see a big improvement and coffee break in The Parish Hall well earned! Come join the team.

Leaf clearance from The Village Green
Thanks to all the volunteers who assembled on Sat 8th/Sun 9th November 2014 to carry out an initial leaf clearance from The Village Green. Thanks also to those Parishioners who made their Green bins available for the leaves to be composted via Teignbridge DC. When all the remaining leaves are down another session will be arranged in about two weeks time.

Leaf clearance from the Village green 8/9th November
Join the Conservation Group to start clearing the leaves from the Village Green. Volunteers of ages welcome as “many hands make light work”. Saturday 8th at 1000hrs and/or Sunday 9th at 1400hrs. If you have a rake and/or green bin please bring them to the Green.

North Bovey Conservation Group AGM 27th April 2014
The North Bovey Conservation Group will hold the Annual General meeting in the Parish Hall at 10.30hrs BST on Sunday 27th April. Everyone welcome John Clark – Project Coordinator NBCG
