Puppies (again!)
Hello all The puppies are now just over five weeks old, and growing fast! Five have been taken, so to speak, and there are three boys and one girl remaining and waiting for a lovely home. I’d always said I wouldn’t keep one, and then said I would, and now, reluctantly, have decided it’s not the right time to keep one of them, so the girl I had chosen is now available too. If you know of someone who might be interested in a puppy please let them know, and give them my number – 01647 440446 – to make an appointment to come and see them. Actually please feel…

Slightly Stunned Bird.
From Sonia Irving – This bird hit our window and was lying dazed on the lawn for a while. Not one I have seen close up before – pretty sure it’s a treecreeper.

Birds
North Bovey seems to be even better off for wild birds than ever, Now these are not the greatest photos, or the rarest species, but I thought I’d start the ball rolling by posting a couple for you to identify and maybe prompt you to post the ones you see. Post them yourselves, authors, or send them to me at day.ellison@mac.com. Over time we might build a record of what’s out there on the wing . . .
