Anyone seen a polecat around these parts?
Has anyone else seen one of these beasties – a polecat? – in North Bovey? I have seen one twice in 2 months or so, on the boundary of our garden and field, and they are apparently about on East Dartmoor. They are much heftier that a stoat or weasel and run like a badger, but are smaller than a badger. The one I saw was dark red/brown with a very bushy yellow tail. I didn’t see its face.

Free the Thornberry One!
This fancy bird feeder may thwart the squirrels but it has a major design flaw! Modifications required.
