WI update and next meeting
We’ve all seen it behind the bars and on the shelves of off licences and now North Bovey Belles WI have heard the story behind the new gin Papillon. This gin is distilled locally in Moretonhampstead and the owners, Claire and Adam Hines, have ensured that all aspects of their product reflect a local ethos and draw on reflections of Dartmoor. That starts with its distinct design of the labels and boxes down to the seventeen different aromatics that are added to the gin in order to produce its unique flavour. Papillon Gin at North Bovey Belles WI
North Bovey Belles WI are welcoming Claire Hyne to their monthly meeting this Thursday 14th March at the Parish Hall at 7.30pm. Claire will be talking to us about how and why she set up making her local gin “Papillon” in Moretonhampstead and will be bringing along samples for us to try. If you love it, there will also be an opportunity to buy some.

Road Closure – Hele
ROAD CLOSURE : Road From Hele Cross to Hele Farm, North Bovey Circumstances and weather permitting, SWH hope to undertake essential highway maintenance works on behalf of Devon County Council. The works will take place on the following date: 11 March 2019 To enable us to carry out these works safely, a road closure and diversion will be in place.
