Coronavirus – Update for Surgery Appointments
Please be aware that GP Surgery’s have been advised by the Department of Health to minimise face to face contact with patients with immediate effect. We will therefore be offering telephone consultations to all of our patients. We are doing this in an effort to protect our patients and staff at this difficult time and in order to help minimise the spread/risk of infection. We also have video consultations available through our mobiles to use with patients. (PLEASE contact us to ensure we have an up to date mobile number for you).
You will speak to the GP initially and if they decide that they do need to see you in a face to face appointment then they will invite you in.
For all NECESSARY ROUTINE appointments such as vaccinations, postnatal baby checks, INRs, blood tests, etc. etc please book your appointment for these procedures HOWEVER should you develop any viral symptoms (cough, sore throat, cold, respiratory problems, temperature), no matter how mild YOU MUST CANCEL your appointment and we will get a GP to call you to discuss further.
These are difficult times and we take these measure to ensure your and our wellbeing and we thank you in advance for your support.
