The Ring of Bells

The Ring of Bells is open again!

As many of you will know, The Ring of Bells is open again, under new management, following its launch on Friday 20th January.  The place was heaving that evening, and it’s been open since then.  The feedback has been great!

The people who have taken over the management of the pub are Eversfield Organic, who already manage The Dartmoor Inn at Merrivale, and they have various organic shops too.  Find out more at www.eversfieldorganic.co.uk.

The owners of Eversfield are Mark & Emily Bury, who have issued a message on the North Bovey Facebook page, which I’m posting here for those not on Facebook:

From Mark Bury:

I would like to thank everyone who supported our opening night at the Ring of Bells. We met so many lovely people and felt very fortunate to have so much support.

We have had plenty of positive feedback which is very helpful. We are also listening to things we need to change so please keep the feedback coming our way.

Our beer seems to be liked which is great. It comes from Stuart of the Atlantic Brewery near Newquay. It is organic and healthy too, as chemical and preservative free. During our honeymoon period we are going to reduce our draft ale from £5.70 to £4.95. This will be for 3 months, when we will have to review it!

We are very excited about our new venture and thank you so much for supporting us.

Best wishes
Mark, Emily, Lewis and the team
