Public Advised To Avoid The Area – 338 10 July 2018 Police were called by the Royal Navy Bomb Squad shortly after 12pm today, Tuesday 10 July following reports of a possible unexploded WW1 device at Grand Pier, Teignmouth. A 500 meter cordon is currently in place and police are evacuating the area. Officers and bomb disposal team remain at the scene. Public are advised to avoid the area at this time.
