Missing Pictures – Major Art Theft!!!!
Someone has removed a large photograph of the Rev.Thornton (rector of this parish for 50 years) from the Village Hall, and another picture – of the Maypole and dancers in action last year taken by Mike Rego is also missing. If you have borrowed these for any reason, please return them – the trustees of the hall are shortly to have all the pictures reframed and hung.

I am amazed that this has happened in North Bovey, but perhaps they could be in a cupboard somewhere? For what it is worth, I have not seen the photos hanging in the Hall and so have not seen where they were hung, but I did look around the main two rooms a few weeks ago for them after the Moreton Food Festival whilst helping Bob Small stack some tables, and did not see either photo.
