Notes from the last Parish Council Meeting

The following points were raised at the last Parish Council meeting held on Tuesday 2nd October 2012.

* Ellercombe Farm lane repair is on hold due to funding priorities by Devon County Council.

* Neighbourhood Watch : Parishioners should be aware of bogus Persian rug salesmen operating in the area.

* Water Quality at Stepping Stones : South West Water and the Environment Agency are monitoring regularly.

* Salt Bins : three additional salt bins will be availble, current salt supplies are suffiicient.

* Gullies / Drains : continual maintenance underway by Parishioners.

* Fly-posting and unlawful signs : Dartmoor National Park to be consulted.

* The Neighbourhood Plan : there is still a national strategy for these to beimplemented, guidance awaited.

* Commemorative Stone : this has been commissioned and delivery awaited.

* Next meeting of he Parish Council : Tuesday 4th December, 2012 at 7.30pm in the Parish Hall.
