North Bovey Parish Council

Brief notes from the last meeting held on Tuesday 4th December .

* The Parish Clerk, Dr.Paul Smith will be retiring as Parish Clerk as from the end of March 2013. This post will now be advertised.

* Neighbourhood Watch – Cllr. Austin reported that the Police were launching Operation Reindeer. This was to be aimed at security of vehicles.

* The Council would like to ask all Parishioners to keep an eye on their elderly and vulnerable neighbours and fellow Parishioners, particularly during the winter months and bad weather conditions.

* Two new planning applications had been received:

  1) Certificate of Lawfulness for a hut at Langaford

  2) New Plans for Bowden House, North Bovey

* The Council voted in favour of keeping the precept the same for 2013.

* Date of next meeting : Tuesday 5th February 2013.
