Plain Paper
I am struck by how dull our humble Blog looks without pictures. When you post it really does catch the eye better with an image if you have, or can find, one. Brighten it up, be imaginative. Have a little fun! Also do remember to add tags so that readers can easily look up related posts in future days . . . Suggestion over. Back to the white-heat of the Village Voices newsroom. Lost Bear!
Young Matty Johnson has lost his Bear-bear and we think he left it either in church or somewhere around the village green. The collection in support of the Royal British Legion amounted to £210.

From Sonia Irving – This bird hit our window and was lying dazed on the lawn for a while. Not one I have seen close up before – pretty sure it’s a treecreeper.
