Face Coverings Become Mandatory In All Shops and Retail Premises
Being socially responsibleFrom Friday, July 24, Government COVID-19 legislation changes mean it is mandatory to wear a face covering in all shops and retail premises.The measure will see all shops able to prevent entry to the premises to anyone not wearing a face covering. The new measure will see police given powers to issue a fixed penalty notice to anyone refusing to comply with the legislation, although Devon & Cornwall Police will be adopting an educate, engage and encourage approach with enforcement as a final option. I have never really tried astrophotography before, it is quite a challenge! Without a star-tracking device, it is difficult to avoid star trails, and also quite hard to focus the lens in the dark. Have you bought anything online recently?… Almost 34% of all retail sales during May 2020 were carried out online, and new research suggests that only 16% of UK consumers intend to return to their old shopping habits post-lockdown. Reopening our leisure centresOur staff are looking forward to welcoming customers back to our leisure centres and indoor pools this month. We will start opening our leisure centres from 25 July, phasing in each opening across several days to give staff the chance to share any learning across the centres as we open. We are currently bringing staff back from furlough and giving them the training they need to make sure everyone stays safe.
