Having done the hard bit and been awarded a grant we have now completed all the necessary paperwork for the Diocese in order to get permission to do the work!  This has now been submitted and after a few weeks wait we hope to get the go ahead to start work at the beginning of September.  The work should take about 10 weeks and the church will be able to remain open during the re-roofing.  There will be a cover over the roof to protect it from the elements whilst work takes place and we shall be taking great care not to disturb the bats that are resident.  To that end,…
