Crime Wave?????

This message relates to Police Log No. 720 of 16th July 2014. At approximately 1815hrs on Wednesday 16th July a male called at a property in the North Bovey area offering to sell a generator. The male is described as a white male, had an Irish accent, in his 50’s, well built 5ft 10ins tall with dark hair and wore jeans and a smart shirt. He stated his name was Rob. He was in the company of another white male who stayed in a vehicle described as a 4×4 new Volkswagen style, dark green/blue. Please be aware of any cold callers offering to sell items at your door. Do not feel intimidated or pressured into buying any items. Do not let anyone into your home you do not know. If you have a visit from this male try to make a note of registration numbers and contact the Police on 101 quoting Log No. 720 of 16th July 2014. Thank you.
