Up to date information from Moorgate Vets

Following on from our previous notices we are continuing to put precautions in place to minimise the spread of Coronavirus. 

Our aim is to protect our clients and staff so that we will always be in a position to offer our services, with main priority being focused on providing emergency care to our patients that need it. To help us do this we ask that clients be patient and respectful when following our precautions. 

At this time we would also like to remind clients to we are trying to limit the amount of visitors, please be sensible when deciding to visit us and only come to us if you really need to. There are many things we can assist you with over the phone or by email. Please use these contact methods first. 

We currently have a few members of our team who are having to self-isolate as they are considered to be at high risk. We have also seen an increase in phone calls. Because of this our staff levels have been put under pressure so some of the precautions that have been put in place are there to ensure that our reduced staff can deal with those pets whose treatment and care cannot be delayed, at the same time as remaining safe.

Following on from our post on Monday, we have now reduced our opening hours at our Moretonhampstead surgery. The surgery will now be open:

Monday to Thursday: 9am – 3pm
Fridays: 9am – 5pm
Saturdays: Closed

Staff will still be manning the phone lines around the clock so please contact the normal 01647 440441 number as before.

Debbie Hill who looks after our TB tests will be working from home from tomorrow and will be available to discuss bookings etc. Please contact our Bovey Tracey surgery to be transferred to her on 01626 833023. Alternatively please feel free to email her on debbie@moorgatevets.eclipse.co.uk. 

We are constantly working on further measures that will need to be implemented over the next weeks and months. Please do get in touch if we can assist you in any way as we all need to work together over the coming weeks.
