Travelling Crib

With Yule-Tide fast approaching, I’m wondering who amongst you would like to host the wooden figures of Mary, Joseph and their donkey as they travel to Bethlehem. In the past, the hosts have provided warm accommodation with, perhaps, a lighted candle for the figures, for one or two nights in the lead-up to Christmas. The idea is that they travel around the parish from the first Sunday in December and arrive in the church for our Christmas Day service where they can take up their places in the stable for the arrival of Baby Jesus.

Please let me know if you would like to offer lodgings to these special guests and also dates which would be good for you.
