POETRY EVENING
We will be holding a very informal “poetry evening” in THE RING OF BELLS on Wednesday 22nd October.
Two published poets from the village will read and discuss their own work, the audience is invited to read a piece of either their own writing or just a favourite poem, and there is a prize for the best limerick – the first line of which must end with “North Bovey”. All very informal and light hearted and open to everyone to join in with the discussions and fun.
Start time is 7pm, cost £5.00 and Richard will provide a simple “chicken ‘n’ chips supper for £6.95.
Tickets may be ordered in advance from: j.h.powell@exeter.ac.uk and collected on the door.
Make a note of the date in your diaries – see you there!
