OAFs – Monday 15th September

Hello all

Our next OAFs meeting will be tomorrow (Monday) 15th September in the Parish Hall at 7.00pm.  It would be great to see you, if you’re able to come.

Just a reminder, that the idea of OAFs (which stands for Open Arts Forum) is to explore various aspects of the arts and literature in a considered and enjoyable way.  We haven’t been going long, but we’re planning generally to meet once a month and each session will have a pre-declared topic for discussion, to which you will be expected to respond by bringing with you a piece of literary work.  This could be in the form of an extended quotation from a book or play, a song or a piece of music, a photograph, a painting, a piece of embroidery etc.  This may be your own creation or from a published work.  Each participant must be prepared to discuss the connection of their contribution with the topic, as they see it.

Our theme for this month is ‘Autumn’.
