Progress on Ring of Bells Re-build
A few photos taken last week of the work going on beneath the scaffolding that is covering the Ring of Bells. In the main restaurant, an old well has been uncovered, as well as the remains of a cobbled floor in front of the fireplace, possibly dating back to a time when cattle were kept in this part of the building. By the end of the week, several new oak roof trusses were in place.

Nice work Mike! Terrific to see behind the scaffolding and get a real sense of progress. Here’s to the first pint.
