Having booked months ago, we’re supposed to be going to the Horn of Plenty this evening, but the girls are ill and I don’t think we’re going to be able to go….. does anyone fancy a night at ‘the best small hotel in Devon’ and a very yummy dinner? We were going to take the girls with us and build them a den on the floor in the hotel room and the intercom works down in the restaurant, so no need for babysitters! Hi Everyone, My father had a hip replacement yesterday and he is coming down to stay with us for a week or so whilst he gets back up and running again. Apparently, he’s not meant to sit on sofas, he needs to sit somewhere where his knees are lower than his hips. I think if he sat on one of our sofas he’d never get up again! We were wondering whether anyone in the village might have a high-backed/upright armchair we could borrow for a week whilst he’s here staying with us? Many thanks Rebecca Hilton
