Beating the Bounds

On May 23rd  we are beating part of our Bounds. The portion we will beat this year is from Firth Bridge near Grimspound to the County road near Brinning Landing. As some sections are more challenging than others, there are opportunities to join or leave the group at several points along the route.  In line with tradition, members of the group will be bumped on the Boundary stones especially the new Boundary stone at Dickford Bridge. The section from Clapper Bridge to Brinning Landing will be walked together with a group from Lustleigh along our joint boundary, so be prepared to defend our Parish against encroachment: we might also try to claim part of Lustleigh if the opportunity arises.
