Competitions in the Church for North Bovey Fair
Our children’s competition this year is ‘Decorate a Balloon‘. Decorate a balloon with what ever you want, how ever you want and as many times as you want! Lot’s of colourful entries would be lovely. If you find yourself all grown up then the competition for you is in showing off your gardening skills. This year we’d like to fill the Church with glorious produce. Just bring the best of what you’ve grown. It doesn’t matter if it’s a mix of vegetables or one prize specimen, flowers and herbs growing in pots, cut & bunched or one prize bloom. We are open to anything and everything. This will be…

There will be competitions and exhibitions in the church, particularly…

Dear Friends, We would love you to join in the Maypole dancing this year – culminating on North Bovey Fair Day, Saturday 19th July from 2pm. We plan to have regular light-hearted workshops on Saturday mornings from early June onwards. We will run through all the dances we plan to perform at the Fair (for both children and adults) at each session. If you would like to take part this year please ensure you can attend all workshops and obviously Fair Day itself. If you would like to take part in some way but not to dance at the Fair please do still come and ‘have a go‘ but please let us…

Fair Money Allocation
Following the Fair Committee meeting last Saturday, it was decided that the fair profits were to be distributed according to the plan which resulted from a public meeting four years ago. As a committee we felt that the allocations were agreed using a democratic process and as such any amendments should follow the same format, with the community as…
