Yes, this year’s fair will be on Saturday 19th of July, and all preliminary boring bits of admin have been done. As a reminder to everyone, and information for newcomers, last year we we made a profit of almost £3,500, and this allowed us to make donations to the Church, the Parish Hall and smaller donations to other worthy causes. The Church and Hall have huge bills every year for insurance, as well as their ongoing maintenance costs, and the Fair profit makes a big contribution to both these insurance bills. Village Voices is at last starting to make better use of the top menu bar. This is a place for standing information on places, groups and activities. A supplement to the changing posts on current events. Thank you to Mandy Hart for being the first to send in the Village Fair Page! We hope this will extend to the Parish Hall soon with Booking Information, facilities, how to book etc. It would be great if we could do the same for The Church, a standing list of local food producers, the Parish Council etc. A one-stop page for all those often asked questions about joining in, what is available – whatever…
