Update Local Resilience Forum Police given new powers A message from Assistant Chief Constable Glen Mayhew. “Following the further measures announced by the Prime Minister 23 March, we wanted to provide you with a brief update on what these measures mean for Devon and Cornwall police. “Current legislation provides officers with powers to disperse large groups of people if necessary and to take action against anti-social behaviour and public disorder. Good Morning everyone – the weather yesterday was stunning and of course we wanted to enjoy something uplifting in our lives. However, please, try to remember that Government advice is to stay at least 2 metres apart from each other – you are still vulnerable out in the fresh air. Do not under-estimate this advice!!! After today, the Ringers will open on just Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of next week and then reviewed again, based on demand and the situation. Open that is, for take-a-ways and meals suitable for the freezer. Order before 4 pm and if not open on that day, give your requirements by email- mail@ringofbells.net Richard is doing his level best to provide a service, keep his staff employed and respect the current situation.So the menu already sent out and attached again now, is the one relevant to today and next week only.
