Thursday January 9th saw the first birthday of North Bovey Belles W.I.  They celebrated with a birthday cake and sparkly drinks (or tea if you preferred).  Their first year has been successful and has laid the foundations for a thriving W.I.  An exciting programme for the whole year has been prepared with many speakers planned to speak on diverse topics.  A copy of the programme is available on request – or watch this space. 7.30pm this week is the next meeting of the North Bovey Belles W.I in the Parish Hall. Our speaker this week is Sally Jackson who is coming to talk to us about ‘Gut – your second brain’. Sally is a nurse and a nutritional therapist. New members are alway welcome to join us. We are holding a coffee morning at the Community Centre, Court Street, Moretonhamstead on 25th January where we are going to have a tombola.
