North Bovey Belles W.I. Programme
NORTH BOVEY BELLES W.I. – Programme for the first half of this year Our meeting on Thursday 13thJune will be held in the Parish Rooms at 7.30pm. Our speaker this week will be Liz Bread from “Bread by Liz”. She will tell us all about her business, how she set it up and will be bringing along samples for us to try. She will also be telling us about her new enterprise “Knead to Connect” which encourages people to cook. July 11th: – Sharon Davies, Midfield Granola August – No meeting this month September 12th: – Jennifer Jones. Anyone can join in a singing session this month. You do not need to be able to sing…

Safari Supper June 20th
Dear all, Tickets for the safari Supper on Thursday 20th June will sell fast. If you intend on coming, please let me know so I can reserve them for you. They are £22.50 per person. Miss February aka Angela Baker visits North Bovey Belles WI
One of Devon’s newest WI’s, North Bovey Belles held a spectacular evening to showcase their new WI and welcomed Miss February, Angela Baker from THAT calendar to entertain members and guests with a first hand account of the story of the unofficial WI calendar and it’s subsequent impact on cancer research funding and the WI. After enjoying a welcome glass of bubbles and assorted canapés the audience was transported from a wet and windy Dartmoor by Angela’s enthralling storytelling talents back to the Yorkshire Dales of 1999 when the story began of a few ladies from a Yorkshire WI who initially set out to raise a few £’s in order…
