    Lost Sheep!

North Bovey is missing it’s sheep! Sometime over the summer the sheep, displayed on the village green and painted by the local children, wandered off. If anyone has seen it recently or knows of it’s whereabouts could they please contact me (441224) so that we can collect it. Alternatively, it can be returned to the church. We would really like to have it back in time for the Harvest Festival as it could be used to illustrate the talk that David Ursell has planned.

The Harvest Supper will take place in the Parish Hall immediately after the service. Please put the date in your diaries –

    Explorers Wanted!

It would be good to see our humble blog reach out to the whole Parish more. We have 56 subscribers. More who just pop in from time to time. Mostly in the village or very close by. If each one emailed, or phoned, a friend in the outer boundaries of the Parish we could achieve a wider reach – for the Parish Council, Parish Hall etc. Villages can be great small communities but such a shame if they stop looking outwards. Have your share!

    North Bovey Exposed.

We have put together a portfolio website for our very own Mike Rego. He’s far too polite to post it himself so here is where you can find it www.mikerego.photography. Let him know what you think! And it’s not all sheep. He seems pretty struck by sheep, which is a worry. Have a look at Japan, Egypt & more on the way . . .

    Plain Paper

I am struck by how dull our humble Blog looks without pictures. When you post it really does catch the eye better with an image if you have, or can find, one. Brighten it up, be imaginative. Have a little fun! Also do remember to add tags so that readers can easily look up related posts in future days . . . Suggestion over. Back to the white-heat of the Village Voices newsroom.
