North Bovey Fair 2017

The weather forecast is not looking great for Saturday, but our fair will go on as usual. We have however made the decision to cancel the sheep shearing competition that was to take place in the evening. It would be dangerous to attempt to shear wet sheep. We are very sorry about this, but we have no plan B, and for everybody’s safety we have to cancel. Fingers crossed we can do it next year.

The Fair will still go ahead. Gordon has gone to Newton Abbot in search of gazebos and plastic sheeting, and in the evening we are planning to move into the Parish Hall, with music, a bar, and food, so please do come along.
