Sheep Worrying

Police have received reports of a dog worrying sheep in a field within of Teignbridge area.

We would ask all persons out with a dog/s around farmland to keep the them under control at all times around livestock.

The person in charge of a dog/s at the time is responsible should livestock be injured and would be liable to prosecution under Section 1 of the Dogs-(Protection of Livestock ) Act of 1953 . Thank you
