The blog now has its own home. It is www.northbovey.org. Please change this in the bookmarks on your browser. I have set up a redirect from the previous address on my website (where it used to live) but this will not always be there. If this puzzles you please ask anyone under 21 or me (young at heart). I have also renamed it ‘Parish Voices‘ to reflect that it is inclusive of all North Bovey parishioners and not just those in the village. Shameless Plug!
Local Project Revealed! Yesterday we took delivery of finished copies of a book put together in this very parish. It is the story of Stella West-Harling MBE, founder of Ashburton Cookery School. Many of you have met Stella and I know quite a few have taken courses at the school which is regularly voted Top Independent Cookery School in the country. Stella is a well know advocate of everything to do with food and passionate about Dartmoor. The book is in a coffee-table format and packed with some stunning photography by David Griffen. The food is locally sourced, cooked and photographed at Stella’s cottage in Chagford, and the book put together…
