From Ashburton and Chudleigh Police
Please share this information far and wide. We can all play a part in shutting down cyber crime. Simply forward suspicious emails to report@phishing.gov.uk. I am sure most of us receive them on a regular basis and fortunately many people identify that something is wrong, but sometimes people fall foul. Do your bit and help to prevent others becoming a victim. report@phishing.gov.uk

Policing the SouthWest During the Pandemic
Message from Chief Constable Shaun Sawyer Continue To Think Twice “In England, there has now been an easing of Covid-related restrictions and amendments have been made to the legislation, following the Prime Minister’s address to the nation on Sunday night.“It was always going to be challenging when restrictions began to be relaxed not only for policing but all agencies and communities. DNP – updated advice
Taken from a letter to our Parish Clerk Public access As you will be aware, as from Wednesday 14th the new government measures announced by the Prime Minister come into effect. The government has published staying safe outside your home for guidance on what the new rules will mean. These will take effect on Wednesday. This page sets out key FAQ to inform the public and help you prepare for these changes. This guidance applies in England – people in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland should follow the specific rules in those parts…

Recycling Centres
Editors note: Your guess is as good as mine Re-opening of recycling centres All recycling centres (with the exception of Crowndale in Tavistock and Punchbowl in Crediton – see details below) will re-open from Monday 11 May 2020 for essential use only. Essential use applies only to waste or recycling that could not be stored safely at home without causing a risk of injury, health or harm to the resident or other members of their household and cannot be legally and responsibly disposed of in other ways.
