The Ring of Bells is open again!
As many of you will know, The Ring of Bells is open again, under new management, following its launch on Friday 20th January. The place was heaving that evening, and it’s been open since then. The feedback has been great! The people who have taken over the management of the pub are Eversfield Organic, who already manage The Dartmoor Inn at Merrivale, and they have various organic shops too. Donations to HITS from North Bovey residents
The North Bovey Conservation Group put up a Christmas Tree on the village green as usual in December, and requested that people made a donation (by buying a ‘star’ to go on the tree). All donations from the stars have now been sent to the HITS Foodbank, which stands for Homeless In Teignbridge Support. Chris Chapman – a lifetime in photography
North Bovey Belles WI are pleased to present an open meeting on March 9th at 7pm in North Bovey Parish Hall when celebrated, local photographer Chris Chapman will talk about his work. Tickets are priced at £7.50 and there will be a cash bar. Friends of St John AGM – venue changed
The AGM of The Friends of St John’s will take place on Tuesday 7th February 2023 at the Parish Hall at 6.00pm, and not in the pub, as previously advertised. We hope that you will join us as we report on the past year, and upcoming plans.

Last week was lovely, with a few new people, so come along tomorrow and join in the fun. Bring friends and neighbours. Bring snacks if you wish, bring your own drinks, or contribute to our wonderful parish hall and have a drink from the bar.

Another Friday night Pub in Exile
