Dogs die in Hot Cars
Every year Police receive countless calls from concerned members of public regarding dogs that have been left alone in hot cars, most haven’t even been left with a water bowl. Please never leave your dog alone in a car on a warm day, the heat can become unbearable very quickly. Even leaving the windows open doesn’t stop the car from heating up and any dog left inside the vehicle can become very hot and distressed and this can be fatal. WW1 Bomb Alert, Teignmouth!!!
Public Advised To Avoid The Area – 338 10 July 2018 Police were called by the Royal Navy Bomb Squad shortly after 12pm today, Tuesday 10 July following reports of a possible unexploded WW1 device at Grand Pier, Teignmouth. A 500 meter cordon is currently in place and police are evacuating the area. Officers and bomb disposal team remain at the scene. Public are advised to avoid the area at this time.
