Progress on Ring of Bells Re-build
A few photos taken last week of the work going on beneath the scaffolding that is covering the Ring of Bells. In the main restaurant, an old well has been uncovered, as well as the remains of a cobbled floor in front of the fireplace, possibly dating back to a time when cattle were kept in this part of the building. By the end of the week, several new oak roof trusses were in place.

CPR Practice
CPR LessonSome of the 20 villagers who thanks to Bovey Castle and instruction from Vicky learnt how to perform CPR and use the new defibrillator, during an instruction session in the Village Hall on Monday 24th April.

A visiting bell ringing team will be ringing at North Bovey church this afternoon – enjoy!

Airband – high-speed internet
Airband has now gone live on the church tower. Interested households can place their orders on Airband’s website and its Customer Services team will establish if there is line of sight, and book the installations. The website is www.airband.co. It is now over to Airband. The church has been instrumental in having the antennae installed on the tower, but the responsibility for the technical and commercial operation is now up to the company (not the church).
