From the boys and girls in blue
PCSO Colin Rider would like to advise you that an insecure garage has recently been burgled in the Bishopsteignton area with a quantity of valuable tools stolen. Please ensure any outbuilding is correctly locked and secured and to advise your neighbours accordingly. This crime fits the description “opportunist” as the thief has seen a security weakness and taken advantage. Thank you.

Anyone fancy a night in the Horn of Plenty tonight?
Having booked months ago, we’re supposed to be going to the Horn of Plenty this evening, but the girls are ill and I don’t think we’re going to be able to go….. does anyone fancy a night at ‘the best small hotel in Devon’ and a very yummy dinner? We were going to take the girls with us and build them a den on the floor in the hotel room and the intercom works down in the restaurant, so no need for babysitters! It’s £149 for the room, dinner and breakfast. The food is really, really good! Anyone fancy taking our place and having a last minute treat, let me…

Help!
Does anyone have a cat box (or two) they could lend me please? I’m taking the puppies to the vet tomorrow for their jabs, and their cage is just too heavy to lift. The appointment is first thing in the morning. Also is there is anyone willing to help me wield nine puppies? They are quite a handful! Any help would be most appreciated! Many thanks Jennifer

Puppies (again!)
Hello all The puppies are now just over five weeks old, and growing fast! Five have been taken, so to speak, and there are three boys and one girl remaining and waiting for a lovely home. I’d always said I wouldn’t keep one, and then said I would, and now, reluctantly, have decided it’s not the right time to keep one of them, so the girl I had chosen is now available too. If you know of someone who might be interested in a puppy please let them know, and give them my number – 01647 440446 – to make an appointment to come and see them. Actually please feel…

Village Fair Distributions
Hello Everyone I thought it would be helpful to share with you the success of last year’s village fair and what has been done with the funds raised. I will apologise in advance for my appalling spelling but , sadly , there’s not a lot I can do about it now. However , I will attempt to keep out of the Americanised trap of their persistence in replacing “s’s ” with “z’s”. Is there any wonder I don’t warm to the spellchecker ! I am very pleased to report that last year delivered a record profit of £3,857.23. ( I can never work out how we end up with odd…
