May Day 2011
Sunday, 1st May, saw our village at its very best. Despite the grumbly weather, the inaugural Maypole Dance was a great success as we celebrated the life of Niki Pollard. The children put on a terrific display and the weeks of practice paid off so well visiting children were able to join in too. There were mountains of sandwiches and cakes, a splendid display of photos, film and memories if Niki, an Art Class and much dancing. Many smiles, many laughs – and some big wet tears.

Lovely pix – wish we’d been there. It looks a very fitting tribute to lovely Niki. Can’t wait to see all the pictures so please everyone, post away!
