Posting to Village Voices

After sounding out some opinions with current Village Voice ‘authors’ it seems a good time to widen the scope of content in this forum. So VV will be changing the status of North Bovey Parish ‘subscribers’ to ‘authors’. No-one outside the community will be able to post. This simply means you will be able to post directly onto the website by logging-in as you do to leave a comment. Many communities use Facebook this way, notably Chagford & Moretonhampstead but I know many of you do not wish to sign up to Facebook so some changes are need on here to inject more life and variety.

You can see here how Village Voices is set up. If you wish to post please read the FAQs or ask any of your neighbours and friends you see posting if you have any difficulty.

Village Voices policy remains the same “For the benefit of all. It is only moderated to avoid the abusive or devisive. No anonymous posts and comments!” Please respect your neighbours, think before you post or reconsider if you have had a snifter of alcohol! If you see anything untoward please let me know but I share the view that it is about time for fresh energy and a little more trust in each other.

Perhaps there should be a simple open meeting in the New Year to discuss this and anything else related to Village Voices? In the meantime – Have your say!
