    Burglary in Bovey Tracey

    Police are appealing for information after a work of art was taken during a burglary which happened at the Devon Guild of Craftsman on Station Road in Bovey Tracey. The incident occurred between 11.30am and 1.30pm on Friday 5 April 2018. An unknown person entered the premises and stole the piece of art [pictured]. The piece is 18 carat gold and measures 128mm x 78mm and is of a high value.     Fatal collision- A30 Exeter Information sought by police A man has died after being struck by a van as he changed a tyre on his car on the A30 at Alphington, Exeter. Emergency services were called at 12.25pm yesterday [Monday 26 March] after reports that a grey Renault Master van had been in collision with the man on the onslip to the A30 eastbound carriageway at Alphington junction. The man, believed to be in his 50s and from Crewkerne in Somerset, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
